A self made Photographer - The Humans of India

“Ever since I left my studies after my 12th standard, I have been doing photography full time. My main foray would be as a Wedding Photographer but My passion lies with Wildlife as you require a lot of investment for the camera and lenses which are suitable for a wildlife Photographer. I am currently saving for my wildlife Photographer Career. My passion for photography started since my best Friend and I both started learning the basic settings of the camera and lenses, I also got into photography as I did not see a point in studying further after my 12th standard and was looking for a reasonable career option. My mother supported me for this decision, and she said that “If you want to do it, go ahead but do it on your own” and as I kept getting a little income and saving I purchased a DSLR camera myself.”

MORE STORIES
The Dreamer...

“The most important thing if you can do for someone is to inspire them. So, just along the way I got inspired by someone, their art, their passion and dedication on photography. I don’t know what triggered my mind but I was unable to take it out of my mind. Then there I was a DSLR proud owner. Just had one thing in mind before ginger on my photography journey, I just have to inspire people. Since then clicking and shooting everything that inspires in the path…To be inspired is great..to be inspire is incredible….”

New Interests!

“Until recently, photography meant nothing to me.
I had no interest in it whatsoever.
It all started with a competition in school in the 11th grade.
I enrolled for the competition so that I could miss classes and be present for all the events taking place in the school. But that’s when I realised that a part of me loved the beauty of the different instances seen in pictures.
My first camera was a point and shoot with which my love for photography grew. With the help of a friend I learnt and practiced photography and later realised that photography was my cup of tea.
As my love for photography grew, my parents being supportive bought me a new camera, a DSLR which pushed the limits farther than the older one did.
I spent all my free time taking pictures and learning new things and as I travel a lot I could learn more and more in different situations.
I love the concept of landscape and macro photography. Taking good pictures somewhat made me happy even though I couldn’t really use those pictures for anything.
I started seeing life in pictures and capturing different moments of daily life became a hobby.
From something that didn’t mean anything to me, photography became a major part of my life and it is also a part of my career plan for the future.”

Telling Stories!

“It all began with one 35mm film camera. It was something my parents brought along on every vacation but wouldn’t let me use it as a kid.
As I grew older we upgraded to a point and shoot which immediately led me to learn a lot more through YouTube tutorials and various pieces of information I came across.
The interest kept growing and evolving more and more as I continuously learnt and improved on the skill.
Telling a story through every picture is a very complex form of art which needs more practice than you’d ever imagine.
Everybody has their own style as most people would say so and this is something I work on to get better at and hopefully perfect it at some point in time”
